Class Descriptions

EXPRESS STEP - A quick 30-minute or 45-minute intermediate to advanced level step class. Be prepared to sweat! Upstairs

CARDIO Camp - A 30-minute cardiovascular workout to improve your fitness level – may include medicine balls, steps, low impact movement, etc. Upstairs

20/20/20 - A great fat burner!!!! 20 minute outdoor walk or run, followed by 20 minutes of SPINNING®, ending with 20 minutes of flexibility training (which we all need!). Spin Room

JUST WEIGHT - Utilizing barbells, "Just Weight" incorporates muscle training to music and movement! Class is for beginners as well as advanced participants with intensity of the class determined by the amount of weight each participant uses. For men and women, "Just Weight" will change the shape of your body with strength and endurance training, high-energy music and instructor motivation! Upstairs

PACE - A circuit class utilizing strength and cardiovascular stations. PACE studio

SPINNING® - Individualized indoor cycling within a group exercise setting. SIGN UP AT THE FRONT DESK for this class.

YOGA - A series of rejuvenating poses to help promote health and create a state of deep relaxation. The intention of this class is to melt tension away, increase range of motion and bring greater awareness to both the body and breath. Leave feeling refreshed and restored. Mind Body Studio (2)

YOGA BASICS - This class teaches the foundational poses that are used in the Yoga. It is designed for the beginner student with little or no knowledge of yoga. The focus will be on the postures, breath and the relationship between the two preparing you for the many other styles of yoga.

PILATES MAT - Pilates utilizes the biomechanical principles of core stability, mobility, breathing & alignment to give you longer, leaner muscles, core strength & stability, relief from back pain & stress, improved balance & coordination, enhanced athletic performance & heightened mind-body awareness.

MARTIAL ARTS - Classes are held in the Martial Arts Studio and are for youth ages 5 and up. All classes combine elements of karate, boxing and grappling. See flier in information center for more details.

Cardio Pump - A fun mix of cardio exercises and weight lifting guaranteed to make you sweat! Upstairs

Interval - A fast-paced circuit class utilizing strength and cardio stations. PACE studio

Silver Sneakers - Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support. Mind Body Studio

Tai-Chi - Promotes health and fitness, strengthens, relieves stress, aids emotionally, psychological well-being, relieves neck and back pain, helps weight control, discovers internal energy, and enhances self defense. Outdoors

Core Conditioning - Total core strength, some low impact cardio, hydraulic weights and abs work. Ideal for Golfers! PACE studio

Kickboxing - Learn to control and develop your total being with vigor, sweat and fun. Increase balance and coordination, develop body awareness, develop self esteem, improve and maintain general health, decrease body fat, reduced blood pressure, stress relief, increase in muscle strength, endurance, and power, .....

Teen Cardio - All teens male or female. This class specializes in getting you moving and having fun interacting with other teens. Meanwhile, your gaining muscle and burning calories. You’ll wonder where the time went by the end of the class!

Cardio Salsa - This is a high energy, fun way to spice up your cardio workout. Learn new salsa moves while shedding the pounds! Gym Floor
